Mar 2026 - Held the inaugural Word Count Writing Retreat in Tasmania with Jo Dixon and Jacq Ellem.
Feb 2026 - Launched Three Questions with Fiona Taylor, a video series of short conversations with my favourite authors.
Jan 2026 -Recorded the final episode of the Reading By Candlelight podcast. After three years and fifty interviews, it was time to concentrate on finishing my first novel. It was such a privilege to sit down with 43 debut and sophomore authors - listening to their stories, their fears, their hopes, and the work that brought their books into the world.
Mar 2025 -Two week Fellowship residency at KSP Writers Centre in WA, where I wrote 20,000 words of my manuscript.
Jan 2025 - Began mentorship with best-selling and award-winning author Hayley Scrivenor (ongoing).
Nov 2024 - Awarded an SCWC Emerging Writers mentorship to work with award-winning writer Hayley Scrivenor, best-selling author of Dirt Town and Girl Falling.
Dec 2024 -I was awarded a Fellowship with the KSP Writers Centre, WA.
Sept 2024 -The Word Count podcast was longlisted for the Melbourne WebFest 2024 Awards in its first year, reaching #4 on Apple Podcasts.
Sept 2023 -Released the first episode of The Word Count, a writing accountability podcast, with my co-hosts - bestselling crime author Jo Dixon and internationally awarded podcaster Jacq Ellem — a fortnightly podcast, from blank page to publication.
Jan 2023 - Released the first episode of Reading By Candlelight, interviews with debut and sophomore authors that featured in the Reading By Candlelight book boxes. Proudly supporting new Australian authors and their stories.
